I really love that 'so long as you write' book - there is a short story in there called "Baby" which is really clever which I think about all the time.

I really liked Wild Geese by Mary Oliver

I really wish I could find poems in that way! For me it requires serious excavation and I wish it were easier. The stuff I'm into isn't really the cool thing anymore, so I have to resort to trawling the used bookstores. (Which is way fun, don't get me wrong. I just don't have any near me so it's a bit of a journey each time.) I find online searches aren't the greatest because I'm not sure how to search for what I don't know I'm looking for.

That's a great prompt! Be cool to see what everyone comes up with!

I think the Mary Oliver poem that grabs my is "Summer Day"--that ending "what is it you plan to do with your wild and precious life?" I need to return this poem and this question all the time. This is a wonderful prompt to play with.
