i love how you appreciate the physical book and the layout as well as the content. so much goes into the art of making a book. you have an artist's eye.

I felt the same way about the book overall. It surprised me a bit and there's still at least a couple poems I don't understand, but there were some that really spoke to me personally and many that were impactful.

I am still working my way through it. I agree though it has a good heft, it feels like a quality book from the off. I didn’t read each authors bio, which is presented before their poem, I got bored after the first few, they were all so similar. I’d flick my eyes at it to see it was much of the same and ignore it. I actually wanted more poems from each author. I wanted to see how they tackled this vast subject more than once. I have turned down the corner on a few poems, and once or twice I gave up reading half way through. I will go back and try those again.
